Re: Grasshopper Club Zürich - Back to Glory, One Hop at a Time

Yo! Looking forward to getting the season underway myself, I'll post an update after I've played 9 league games, a couple of interesting developments to report. As for the left sided midfielder, I'm quite happy to stick with Laxalt until the end of the season, I'll probably look for a regen when the...

Let The Games Begin!! - GCZ

First things first, I've sold Caio. Sassuolo came asking without any input from me, and were willing to pay £2.4m for him (he's valued at 825k). I couldn't resist the extra wage budget to bolster the rest of the squad. I've signed Ahmed Hegazy as a free agent, as he's comes very highly rated, and is...

Re: Individual training

Speaking from experience, I generally leave the player on the individual focus for large portions of the season, if not the whole season, and let the chosen attribute (usually stamina or strength) is as high as I want it. So to answer your question, until the number goes up :)

Pre-Season Set up

Well I finally bucked up the courage to start this adventure. To start off with, the GCZ squad with the community roster update is very sparse, and does not account for the development of the youth players since the start of last season. Excuses aside, I took the time to carefully set up the squad w...

Grasshopper Club Zürich - Back to Glory, One Hop at a Time

Founded back in 1886 by a travelling Englishman, Grasshopper Club Zurich (referred from this point on as simply GC) are the most successful league club in Switzerland, amassing 27 national titles, and displaying 2 stars above their crest as a result. After following the club for the last few years, ...

Re: Lowestoft Town - Shooting from the Ship

That's a very long time!! Across all my devices, I'd say about 350-400 hours on this year's game, but I find myself doing other things at the same time, like eating/drinking coffee/watching the cricket/studying etc..

Re: Lowestoft Town - Shooting from the Ship

Thanks! :) Anton's contract demands weren't actually too high, I don't think he was one of the highest earners at the club at that time. Possibly £1500-£2500 p/w if he played with a clean sheet/scoring etc. The hardest season? Difficult question, either League 1 or League 2, but having a small, but ...

Lowestoft Town - Shooting from the Ship

Hailing from the windy coast of East Anglia, Lowestoft Town are a club bathed in local history, and like most clubs of similar stature, now seem to be part of the furniture, since 1887, as depicted by the '1887' built into the brickwork of the clubhouse. The clubs recent history has a lovely beginni...
